Race Start:  Saturday, Nov. 11th, 8:00am at Haskell University Cross Country Course (155 Indian Ave., Lawrence, KS, 66046)

 

Packet Pick-Up:  Friday, Nov. 10th, 12pm - 7pm at Ad Astra Running (734 Massachusetts, Lawrence, KS,  66044)

This race is a fundraiser for Haskell University running programs.  Help save track & field at the alma mater of America's GREATEST track gold medalist, Billy Mills!

The Billy Mills 10k is a 6.2 mile cross country race held on the beautiful cross country course of Haskell Indian Nations University.  As the final race of Douglas County’s inaugural Triple Crown Cross Country Series, the Billy Mills 10K honors one of America's greatest runners at his Olympic gold medal-winning distance.  A graduate of both Haskell Institute and Kansas University, Billy Mills has close ties to the area's running community.  Funds raised from this race will benefit running programs at Haskell University.
