The Official Jeff Galloway Training Program of NE Kansas
Olympian Jeff Galloway’s quest for the injury-free training program led him to develop group training programs in 1978. Over the last 40 years, these programs have helped hundreds of thousands of people improve their lives through walking and running. Beneficial for everyone from beginners to Boston Qualifiers, Galloway’s Run-Walk-Run® method produces better runs, faster times, and fewer injuries than other training methods.
2024 TRAINING PROGRAMS
“Getting Started” 5K/10K – Beginner-friendly programs meeting on Saturday mornings. No prior running experience necessary. 10 weeks / $89 ($69 for Alumni)
5K/10K: Jan. 6th - Mar. 9th, targeting the Shamrock Shuffle 5K/10K (Mar. 2nd)
5K/10K: Apr. 6th - June 8th, targeting the Hospital Hill Run (June 1st)
5K/10K: July 13th - Sept. 14th, targeting the NoLaw 5K (Sept. 12th) / Billy Mills 10K (Oct. 13th)
Half Marathon – “To-finish” and time-goal programs meeting on Saturday mornings. Begins at 5K distance and builds to half marathon. 18 weeks / $95 ($75 for Alumni)
Feb. 17th - June 15th, targeting the Hospital Hill Run (June 1st)
July 13th - Nov. 9th, targeting the Kansas Half Marathon (Nov. 3rd)
Marathon – “To-finish” and time-goal programs meeting on Saturday mornings. Begins at 5K distance and builds to marathon. 32 weeks / $159 ($99 for Alumni)
Apr. 6th - Nov. 9th, targeting the Kansas City Marathon (Oct. 19th)
5K/10K SPEED – Time-goal program meeting on Saturday mornings and Wednesday mornings/evenings. Combines overdistance and interval training methods. 10-15 weeks / $99
5K: Apr. 6th - June 8th, targeting the NoLaw 5K (May 30th)
10K: July 13th - Oct. 26th, targeting the Billy Mills 10K (Oct. 13th)
R.O.G.U.E. (“Runners On Galloway’s Uber-Extended”) Program – All-access pass, including participation in all Saturday morning workouts and Wednesday morning/evening track workouts in spring and fall. Year-Round / $199 ($159 for Alumni)

Safety is Heartland Galloway’s top priority. All workouts are conducted in accordance with public health guidelines. The broader group is divided into smaller pace groups based on each individual’s current ability level, making workouts more effective and enjoyable.
